My family sessions consist mostly of a mix of candid/lifestyle moments along with a few posed images that help to convey the love and fun your family shares. I encourage my clients to engage with one another as if they were just hanging and snuggling at home. Of course I do snag a few "smile and look at the camera pics" but the focus is on your connection as a unit.
I offer both full and simple newborn sessions at my home studio. Family images are included depending on which collection you choose. My studio space is small and cozy. Therefore, it best suits small families that would like a few family and/or sibling images included in their newborn gallery.
Lifestyle newborn sessions take place within the comfort of your home! These are perfect for larger families and focus more on your intimate day to day life. With that being said, images are a mix of candid/lifestyle as this is more of a documentary style session. Homes with an abundance of natural light are ideal and I do have to "approve" your home so I can discuss any concerns I may have prior to booking your session. Rest assured, I've always been able to find light within the homes I visit.
Maternity sessions flow similar to a family or couple session. I capture one the most cherished times of your life, again, while documenting your current and growing love for one another and your soon to be bundle of joy!
Milestone and sitter sessions are offered either outdoor at a specified location, at my home studio or lifestyle at your home. These sessions are treated similar to my other studio, family or lifestyle sessions. I offer a modest client closet that my client are more than welcome to take advantage of. My studio setups are kept simple and timeless. However, I am happy to discuss a more elaborate setup for milestones sessions but may charge an extra fee depending on what you're looking for. AJP Newborns are offered discounted rates for their 3/6/9/12 milestones sessions.
Cakes are welcome for one year sessions but must be provided by the client. I offer a complementary and small assortment of cake toppers and stands for my clients to use but you're also more than welcome to bring your own. Mini balloons garlands are available upon request for an additional fee.
I offer several senior collections and each will list what is included. Senior sessions take place at a specified outdoor location. An additional location may be added on depending on which collection you choose to book.
While I do not offer wedding photography, I do love capturing the recently engaged or any season a couple is currently in. Documenting your love (even if it's just the two of you) is equally as important as any other session!
Let's not forget about our fur babies! Being a fur and foster dog mama, I feel that documenting your furry little babies is also important as they are incredibly special to us. Pet portrait sessions are only offered outdoor (despite the photo of our past foster pup above) and in the DeForest area. If you're looking for more or to include yourself and/or family, I do offer collections for that as well.
