Sweetness overload! Little Olivia was a workout to capture but well worth it! She was all about showing off her walking skills while Mom and I ran after her. I can' t blame for wanting to wild and free. :) 

We decided to meet at one of my favorite DeForest locations, an area that opens up to the awesome bike path we have in town that runs from DeForest to Windsor. It's a gem and not far from my home. Since this was a thirty minute session, we only put a bit of this site to good use. 

It was a very warm evening, so mom and I really got our sweat on! Despite the heat, it turned out to be a fun and memorable session. I even offered an outfit change and incorporated big sister, Charlie, into the mix for some sweet sister photos towards the end of the session. Both girls did a good job considering the heat and the fact that supper time was approaching. I was happy for the golden, evening light and the beautiful end of summer scenery. 

Olivia sported an adorable onsie with the word "ONE" written in gold on it, along with a coral tutu, matching head band and darling moccasins. Mom brought a burlap banner with gold specks in it while I provided my vintage quilt, wooden crate and "O-N-E" letters. The set-up was so simple and came together wonderfully. 

For the last segment of the session Charlie and Olivia were dressed with early fall/late summer in mind. Rich, bold and vibrant colors! There attire went great with my vintage inspired afghan. So many silly, candid and beloved moments were captured!

Hanging out to photograph Bianca and her family never feels like work to me. Their loyalty, friendship and support means so much. I've had the honor of photographing Miss Bianca and her beautiful baby blues since she was a newborn. Actually, she was my first newborn session! Since then I've captured her three, six, nine month milestones along with her one year, eighteen months and now TWO years! Man, time has flown by! Out of all those sessions and time spent together, Bianca is still a total mama's girl (I don't blame her) AND this is the first time we've had to bribe her with a treat. Hey, it happens! That's where the sucker came in and it honestly turned out to be one of my favorite "props" I've ever used. Bianca was so happy and much more willing to sit by herself so it was well worth it! She was still a little wiggle worm so I was thrilled to have captured so many adorable photos. In my eyes, the best thing about photographing children is that they are always cute. No matter what. I embrace every mood and look at it as something special, amazing and beautiful. I enjoy seizing the moment and turning it into a forever memory.  It is such a rewarding feeling and it is the number one reason why I love my business.
